Our cement overlay is a look inspired by today’s trend towards minimalist and contemporary interiors. The hand applied product is designed to give each project a unique texture that is reminiscent of the natural form of concrete. It creates a feeling of simplicity and ‘uncomplicatedness’ in this crazy world. It also provides an important element of texture to your space, whilst subtly complimenting surrounding neutrals in your kitchen, bathroom or laundry.
The Process
As our cement overlay is applied directly over your existing tiles, our focus is on the preparation of your space to ensure that we create the best base to apply to. Our four step process involves applying two base coats and a top coat which are all troweled on by hand. We finish the process with a clear application of sealant to protect the finished surface.
*Our cement overlay is applied by qualified and highly skilled technicians ensuring a crafted and quality finish. As this product is applied by hand, there will be inconsistencies which give the finish its own unique texture.
